With the London 2012 Olympics now less than a month away, we thought we’d have a look around their online shop to check out what’s on offer in the way of promotional clothing. Due to the committees strict branding guidelines – you may be better off buying from their online selection rather than printing your own (due to copyright restrictions. For more info on that, check out this link).
There is a wide variety of styles, ranges and graphics; they’ve definitely catered for every taste. Whether it’s Team GB, Adidas or London 2012 Union Jack branding you’re after, their range of Olympic t-shirts and tops will impress.
One of our favourite items available, is a tote bag that is sporting an image of the iconic poster from the last time London held the Olympic games in 1948. Pretty eye-catching!

For an initiative called the “Runway to Win” challenge (which is a project by fashion designers in support of Obama 2012), volunteer artists and designers from across the United States have submitted their best designs inspired by President Obama.
Here are three of our favourite designs…
To see the other designs that have been shortlisted, click here.
The winning design will be printed on t-shirts or tote bags that will become part of the Runway to Win collection – sitting alongside other garments with artwork designed by well known fashion houses such as Marc Jacobs and Alexander Wang in the Obama 2012 online store.

We’ve noticed that this awesome “Half Empty/Half Full” tote bag is currently doing the internet rounds. And rightly so! What a clever idea…
These totes are by Lazy Oaf, who are known for their very cool, bright, pop graphic T-shirts, reversible sweats and accessories collections. The company is driven by illustration, graphics, drawing, and fueled by tea (apparently). The creative label started in 2001 – as a range of hand screen printed tees sold at a market stall in East London. All sorts of Lazy Oaf is now available in over 150 stockists worldwide. They’re now based in Shoreditch, London – which is where we are located too.
Come chat to us if you have smart little idea you’d like to see on some tees or totes, we even offer artworking services too!

American label Make Believe Clothing have some awesome screen printed items for sale on their website. Their “thang” is classically inspired designs with a modern twist. Up on the Make Believe blog they have photo documented festivals they have attended – for which they’ve created a line of specifically “made for” tees and totes.
Their prints are inspired by the aesthetic appeal of the 1950s simplicity, composing designs that are both timeless and appealing to all generations. They’re into one colour prints – two at most, keeping things clean and unfussy. Some of their designs are pre-distressed at the artwork stage, which adds to the retro feel.
If you have an event coming up, and need some printed merch – get in touch! We’re good with short notice and quick turnarounds too…

Claudia Doms is a graphic designer from Germany who is currently living and working in London. She’s recently done a bit of work for Topshop, including coming up with these screen printed canvas tote bags. They were created in time for fashion week, promoting NEWGEN winner Mary Katrantzou and other up and coming fashion designers.
In 1993 the British Fashion Council created New Generation (NEWGEN), one of the world’s most internationally recognised talent identification schemes. NEWGEN continues to showcase and promote new designer businesses and since 2001 the scheme has been sponsored by Topshop.
Claudia has captured these bags really nicely – utilising everyday back drops for some, others are livened up by printed fabric swatches from the designers current collections.
These tote bags make a great canvas for almost any type of design or logo. Check out our range here. For more info on tshirt printing uk, get in touch!
