using web images & image quality
If your design consists of a photograph, gradients or a full colour image, Direct to Garment Printing will achieve the best possible results.
When using photographic images for designs intended for garment printing - they must be of the highest quality. This means they must be at least 150dpi, ideally 300dpi.
Any images or photographs taken from the web will not be suitable, as all web imagery is set to 72dpi - this is very low quality and will appear pixelated when printed. Please see our example below…
As you can see above - when zoomed in, 72dpi images are very pixelated. For the best results, follow these pointers…
Make sure your artwork/image is 300dpi, the colour mode is set to: RGB colour and we advise you create and supply your artwork to scale - so work on a canvas as large as your intended print size.
