EMBROIDERY
Icon Printing offer custom embroidered clothing including polo shirts, embroidered workwear and uniforms. Embroidery is long lasting and looks and feels very professional. It’s incredibly durable and will outlast the garment it’s sewn on but it’s more expensive than printing. Please note we have a minimum order of 10 items for embroidery.
Embroidery Process
We use modern computerised embroidery machines that are incredibly fast and can sew numerous colours at once. Your artwork is "digitized” with embroidery software onto the automated embroidery machine. Large, dense designs are more time consuming to produce than simple text designs and therefore more expensive but costs are not determined by the number of colours in your design, only the number of stitches. Most, relatively simple designs like the example above would be up to 5,000 stitches in total.
Single coloured threads and stitches are used to create the logo so if the artwork is too small we may need to make some modifications so it is legible. In order to provide you with an accurate quote we must see your design. A visual proof will always be sent to you for your approval before production commences.
Embroidery Set up Costs & Prices
Our embroidery costs are based on the number of stitches required for your design or logo. It’s always best to request a quote by attaching your artwork to the customisation section of the quote form.
Please note that we also have a digitisation charge for setting up the design on the embroidery machines and this is a one-off cost of £25.00. If you re-use your design for another order you won’t be charged for this again.
